All you have to do is register and set up an account at bua.no, and you’re good to go. You have to be 18 to register, but the person who is registered can borrow equipment on behalf of people under 18.
BUA has equipment for activities both during the summer and during winter time. In the summer you can borrow skateboards, pennyboards, scooters, or roller skates for activities in Mjøsparken. You can also borrow basketballs, volleyballs, bikes etc.
If you want to spend the day on lake Mjøsa, you can borrow a canoe, a kayak, a wakeboard or water skis, if you have access to a boat. You will also find tents, sleeping bags, hammocks, shoes for hiking and fishing rods if you want to go for a hike in the lovely Ringsaker mountain.
During the winter, BUA has ice skates, cross country skis, slalom skis, snowshoes as well as camping stoves.
Det eneste som kreves for å låne utsyr er at det er en ansvarlig lånetaker over 18 år som står ansvarlig for lånet, og at man lager en låneprofil inne i BUAordningen.
