Explore Ringsaker

Ringsaker is a natural stop along the main route from Oslo to Trondheim, and has a lot to offer for the visiting tourist. The lake Mjøsa and its surrounding countryside with beaches, forests and farmland provide with great opportunities for exploration and adventure. 

Sjusjøen and the Ringsaker mountains sport cross-country tracks that have been deemed to be the best tracks in Norway on several occasions, and with a skiing season which lasts for more than six months each year. This makes our mountain area a popular destination for local inhabitants, cabin visitors and other tourists. The Ringsaker mountain is also a valued spot during the summer months, and well worth a visit.  

The cosy small towns of Brumunddal and Moelv are constantly evolving, offering varied shopping, dining, and cultural happenings as well as comfortable living areas.
