Sjusjøen and the Ringsaker mountains sport cross-country tracks that have been deemed to be the best tracks in Norway on several occasions, and with a skiing season which lasts for more than six months each year. This makes our mountain area a popular destination for local inhabitants, cabin visitors and other tourists. The Ringsaker mountain is also a valued spot during the summer months, and well worth a visit.

Skibladner is the world’s oldest Skibladner is the world’s oldest paddle steamer in timetabled service and one of Norway’s best-loved attractions. In August 2023 the ship will be 167 years old.
